Servo Motor Gates

The electrical gates driven by the axially installed servo drive are used as a supplement to the turnstiles for the controlled bidirectional passage of immobile persons or, if applicable, authorized users (personnel, etc.) The motor gate of a standard width of 900 mm is intended predominantly for checking in the immobile users. It can be operated externally or the device can be integrated into the operator-free passage control system when the chip identification is used.

The basic gate mode is the controlled mode: on the arrival of command the gate is opened in relevant direction to be closed again automatically after the preset time dwell.
The gate is composed of a supporting tube with axial drive of the rotary jacket with the gate leaf.
The gate leaf is supplied with acrylate filling or ESG glass pane or, if necessary, all-glass leaf of ESG glass. If the PANIC alarm is issued the gate opens permanently.

Mechanical Gate

Gate Leaf:

Closed frame of 40mm thick stainless steel tubes according to AISI 304 or AISI 316 – on request. The surface is ground or brushed or, if appropriate, polished (on request).
The gate body material: All-metallic design of stainless steel according to AISI 304 or AISI 316 – on request. The cabinet surface is ground or brushed or, if appropriate, polished (on request). Fully stainless and inner structure. Offered in the outdoor version as well.

Gate Drive Unit:

Axial drive with built-in gearbox is enclosed in the rotary jacket’s tube. Connected with the motor via flexible clutch, guided by two ball bearings and one axial bearing. Smooth turning by 90°. Electromagnetic brake prevents unauthorized passage through the gate.

Gate Control Electronics:

Located in the bottom supporting tube. Smooth start and stopping of the motor. Setting the rotation speed. If pressure exerted by the passing person to the gate arm is increased, this will allow increase in the rotation speed.

Power Supply Failure:

In case of power supply failure, the motor brake is released. The gate can be opened manually. To maintain its function, the device can be connected to the stand-by power supply.
